Testimonial: Can’t go wrong with Marti!

Five star reviewZillow Testimonial from Langfordrandy on 1/20/18
Five Star Review
Sold a single-family home in 2017 in Black Diamond, WA

“Very detailed and always willing to help and answer questions when asked. Marti provides a professional photographer and stager when selling a house. She also paid for a Home Warranty that will cover repairs for the new buyer which is a plus. Our house sold in less than a week after begin listed  on the market. Can’t go wrong with Marti.”

Kent Relay for Life: Friends 4 Life

Cancer is a deadly disease that has touched almost all of us, and some of us more than others. I know my family has been hit hard by cancer, and I am ready to fight back. That’s why I am sponsoring an American Cancer Society Relay for Life team called “Friends 4 Life.” Together we’ll raise money and walk all night June 3-4, 2011 at French Field to remember those we’ve lost and to honor those who have survived. Won’t you join us? We are currently the top team in Kent – woo hoo!

In addition to participating in the June 3-4 overnight walk, we will be holding fundraising events including an upcoming wine tasting at Castle Bridge Winery. Stay tuned for details!

Working for you and the Kent community,

How “Walkable” Is Your Neighborhood?

I recently “ran” across this fun website called Walk Score. You can type in any city and state in the Puget Sound or the United States to determine it’s “walk score,” or how walk friendly the city is. Kent, Washington is rated a 49. Our most walkable zip code is 98030. You can also look up Covington, Maple Valley, Black Diamond, Auburn, Seattle, Bellevue, Renton, Federal Way and more.

What makes a neighborhood walkable? Several factors including people, parks and public space, pedestrian bridges, schools and more.

Despite our love for the area and Seattle Metropolitan magazine naming Kent one of the best places to live, some people ask me, “Why Kent?” I could list a dozen reasons (schools, parks, shopping, etc.) why we like it here, but maybe you want to see for yourself.
